Conference on Scholarly Teaching in Linguistics
July 8 – 9, 2023
UMass Amherst

Schedule of Events

We will be convening from 10:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time both days. Lunch will be provided during the round table discussions, and snacks and hot beverages will be served during the afternoon breaks. Our hope is that participants are able to stay for the duration of the entire conference. Check out the conference schedule and program here.

Each presentation will be 15 minutes long, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.

Physical Location

Our conference will take place in room S311 in the Integrative Learning Center (ILC; in 3C on this campus map) on the UMass Amherst campus. The room is on the third floor of the building, and is close to both accessible and gender neutral restrooms.

Remote Links

The entire conference will be hybrid, enabling conference attendees to join remotely using Zoom. You must be a registered conference attendee to receive the Zoom link for the conference. Registered attendees received an email on July 3. If you registered and did not receive this information, please email us at scholarlyteaching@lsadc.org

Registration closed on June 30th, but we may be able to accommodate late registrants. Please fill out the Conference Registration form and we will send you a confirmation email within 24-hours with information for logging in.

We highly recommend staying at Hotel UMass, however, as of July 2nd, there are no more rooms under our reserved block — please check their website for room availability.
